Perfectly Imperfect The relaxed look is in and it’s no longer about straight, perfect lines when it comes to your eyeliner and lip colour, hurrah! At Gucci lips looked ‘just snogged’ with faded, smudged colour and at John Galliano the eyeliner was purposefully imperfect to look ‘lived in’. Put your brushes to one side and use your ring finger to dab colour into your lips and don’t panic if your eyeliner isn’t even.

Saturated shine After seasons of velvety matte textures we are about to make a major beauty U-turn and go for all things sheeny. Whether it’s skin, lips, eyes and even hair you need to flaunt uber-glossy skin, iridescent textures and heaps of gloss. The model’s at Preen had the prettiest sunset glossy eyelids and you can get the look at home by simply dabbing clear lipgloss over your chosen shade.

Embellishment overload Prepare to embrace the embellished look with rhinestone crystals on your face as seen at Givenchy, Thom Browne and Jeremy Scott. Have fun and experiment with this look and simply use a little clear lipgloss or Vaseline to help adhere them to your skin. And whatever you do use the KiraKira+ App for maximum impact on Instagram!

Brushed-up brows Yes brows are still being filled-in and tinted, but you need to start brushing your brows like you do your hair. At Roland Mouret, Dior and Mary Katrantzou the make-up artists backstage spent time combing and brushing brows in an upwards direction. This not only helps bulk them out (think of it as back-combing) but it also makes them more of a feature.

Tippex liner It’s time to update your traditional black eyeliner with its monochrome mate – and how chic will this look on summer sun-kissed skin? At Creatures of the Wild and Ulla Johnson models rocked the skinniest white liner across their lash lines which contrasted beautifully against their glossy black lashes. Opt for liquid and gel textures and apply several thin layers to build a really bright white finish. If this look is too harsh for you, try a taupe shade as seen at Jonathan Simkhai.
