Meet The Founder
Dynamic, dedicated and business savvy, Tamara Ecclestone possesses a determination and entrepreneurial spirit that is truly captured in her iconic hair care, styling and finishing collection, the inimitable SHOW Beauty.
Born in Milan and educated in London, Tamara is the eldest daughter of Formula One legend Bernie Ecclestone and former Armani model Slavica. Inspired by the resounding professional successes of both parents, Tamara’s motivation stems directly from her father’s fortitude to maximise every opportunity as well as an admiration and affection for fashion and style from her mother. These family values remain the cornerstone of all her endeavours and she relishes the challenges of being a devoted wife and mother, whilst building on her passion for business and beauty. Following in her family’s footsteps, Tamara began her career at F1 magazine while also modelling for Armani. Tamara then furthered her professional path, becoming a successful broadcast personality, working with Sky 1, GMTV and the BBC and now founder and creative director of the hugely successful international beauty brand SHOW Beauty, and kind baby care collection, Fifi & Friends.
Throughout her burgeoning career as an entrepreneur, Tamara has demonstrated an astute desire to use her platform to benefit others. Her passion for philanthropy has led her to work closely with highly esteemed charities including Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, Starlight and the Dog’s Trust, to name just a few. Combining her love of fashion and eagerness to help others, Tamara first launched her charity fashion auction ‘Tamara Gives Back’ in 2008, and reopened it again in Spring 2019, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
Q&A with Tamara
Tell us about the show beauty products. How did you start this brand and why did you choose to create luxurious hair products?
I always felt there was something missing when it came to a hair care brand that felt luxurious so that was the inspiration for SHOW. I wanted women to feel that the product not only worked but smelt special and looked beautiful in their bathroom or handbag.
Why did you decide to start SHOW and how did you go about developing the business?
After years of having my hair styled on photoshoots, I never liked how the products made my hair feel or how the products looked. I realised there was a gap in the market for a luxury haircare line that looked beautiful and worked. My dad gave me a lot of advice when I started up SHOW Beauty, it was important for me that he believed in what I was doing.
What's your favourite product and why?
I love the Premiere Dry Shampoo. As a busy working mum, I don’t have time to wash my hair everyday. The dry shampoo allows me to revitalise my hair in-between washes.
